The Canadian Alliance of British Pensioners is the most dynamic group of volunteers in the field of UK pension rights.

CABP volunteers’ achievements include:

• We have educated thousands on their UK state pension rights (many were not aware that they were eligible).
• We have built a non-profit coast-to-coast organization in Canada, and linked it to similar UK pension organizations in Australia and South Africa to form the International Consortium of British Pensioners.
• We have fought the case for indexed pensions all the way to the European Court of Human Rights, regrettably resulting in a majority decision favourable to the UK Government.
• We are now focusing our efforts on the UK court of public opinion, with powerful and sustained representation to the political party conferences, MPs, and other interested organizations. We have built valuable alliances with UK pensioner organizations and trade unions, all of which share our disgust for the inequity perpetuated by previous Governments.
